The goal of Sistas Place is to sell natural and naturally based products for skin and hair.

Natural Products and Availability
There may be variations in the color, texture, and scent of some products due to their handmade nature. This is normal. For natural products with few preservatives, keep in a cool, dry place and apply with clean hands to prevent contamination. Products may be refrigerated to prolong shelf life. A note on trial sizes: Trial sizes are put together in house from full size products.

We do our best to keep the website up to date with the stock levels of items. If items are marked as in stock, but are out of stock when it is time to fill your order, your order status will be updated to reflect this and your entire order will ship when all items are in stock.

Refund Policy
Due to the nature of products, we do not issue refunds or accept returns. All sales are final. We will replace products with the same product when damaged during shipment. You must contact us by email or phone within 48 hours of receiving your products to receive instructions. If there is a product missing and/or a product has been sent to you in error, please contact us by email or phone within 48 hours of receiving your products. If you are unsure whether you will like a product, we suggest getting a sample size (if one is available).

Order Cancellation
Orders may be canceled at any time prior to shipment. Once orders are shipped or picked up from the store, the sale is considered final and cannot be canceled.

Adverse Reactions
Everyone's hair and skin are different and although we may make suggestions regarding what products may work for certain types of hair or skin, you will have to try them for yourself. Ingredients for products are posted based on what we are given by the manufacturers. We suggest you test all products for allergic reactions before using. We will not be held responsible for any adverse reaction to the products sold. This means no refunds for products will be issued. You are using products at your own risk. Information on this site is not intended to treat any disease, disorder, or condition.

Trademarks, Brand Names, Copyright Information
All brand and product names are trademarks of their respective companies. Any other material on this site is owned by Sistas Place and cannot be used without permission.

Shipping
Please note that items are shipped to the address on our invoice, not Paypal. If you would like items shipped to your Paypal address, please make sure this is the address you specify in the shipping address on our site during checkout.

Orders are shipped using the United States Postal Service. We are not responsible for items lost in the mail. For continental US orders: Insurance may be purchased for an additional fee. Orders over $100 will be billed separately for insurance. All packages are sent with delivery confirmation. Sistas Place will not be responsible for items stolen or otherwise damaged if left by the post office at your address.

International customers will be given a choice of express or priority mail (both of which have insurance). (Please note that international customers are responsible for all border fees/taxes associated with their package which may be due on delivery.)

If an order is returned because of our error, it will be resent at no charge to you. If, however, an order is returned because of an error on your part (such as an inaccurate address), items will only be reshipped after receiving the shipping amount from you. The order will not be sent until the shipping cost is paid. Orders cannot be canceled at that time and no refunds will be issued.

Payments
If using paypal, payments are processed through PayPal on their secure server. For credit card orders, our authorized vendor processes these payments. This means that Sistas Place does not receive your credit card numbers or information. Orders paid with checks or money orders will ship when these items have cleared the bank. Orders paid by phone will be processed and the credit card number destroyed in keeping with North Carolina law. We do not keep credit card numbers on file.

Sales Tax
North Carolina sales tax of 6.75% will be added to all orders being shipped to a North Carolina address.
